A Horse of His Own

Every child has a big dream, and for the young boy in this story, that dream is to finally have a horse of his own. However, he soon finds that dreaming is the easy part; the discipline required to reach that goal is much harder. By exploring his tendency to be lazy and do “just enough” to get by, the story provides a stark but gentle look at work ethic and integrity. It teaches that the things we truly believe are important require consistent effort and a heart that is willing to work hard rather than settling for the minimum.
